Research and development for creating a 3D animated short film on a weekly basis.
Develop a scalable 3D Production Pipeline on a team of 3: one Screenwriter and two 3D Artists.
We used assets from the Unity Asset Store for environments and 3d rigged characters, and Mixamo for character animations. Maya was meant for 3D Layout and blending animation clips from Mixamo. I also added rigging to the character's jaw and eyebrows for comedy purposes. Unity was used for real-time previsualization and rendering.
We created two short film videos. One using a script and camera angles from a known youtube creator (Viva La Dirt League: youtu.be/lbJ51AJuR7E) for rapid testing. And created an original video from a script created by Luke Minaker.
